About Us

Handycor began with a simple idea: to bring the feeling of the ocean into everyday spaces.

My name is Igor Bilous. I am the designer and founder of Handycor, a small artisan studio based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The sea, surfing culture and the freedom associated with them have always inspired me. That inspiration eventually became a collection of objects created for homes, hotels, restaurants and other spaces where atmosphere truly matters.

Together with my small team, I design and handcraft surfboard-shaped lighting, marine animal chandeliers, shower panels, mirrors and coastal wall decor. Every piece is made individually in our workshop — shaped, finished, assembled and carefully inspected by hand.

Objects With Their Own Character

We do not approach our work as mass production.

Even when two customers select the same design, each finished piece has its own subtle character. This is part of the beauty of handmade work. Small variations in texture and finish are not imperfections; they are signs that the object was created by people, not produced anonymously on an assembly line.

Our lighting is made using recycled MDF and integrated LED systems. Our shower panels are crafted from moisture-resistant plywood and protected with multiple sealing layers. Depending on the design, we also use decorative coatings, carefully selected finishes and hand-applied details.

Every material and construction method is chosen according to the purpose of the product.

Made for Your Space

Many Handycor pieces are made to order. This allows us to adjust dimensions, colors, mounting configurations and selected design details for a particular interior.

We regularly work with homeowners, interior designers, architects, hotels, restaurants, surf lodges and coastal properties around the world.

If you are unsure which size, color or configuration will suit your space, you can send us a photograph. We will help you choose the right option and can prepare a complimentary digital mockup before production begins.

For us, customization is not an inconvenience. It is one of the most meaningful parts of our work.

Large and delicate pieces are packed in protective multi-layer crates and shipped worldwide with tracking and insurance. If you have questions before ordering, you can communicate directly with our studio rather than an anonymous support department.
