The Project
The Vision: “Ten Prime Steak & Seafood”, an award-winning upscale culinary landmark in Providence, Rhode Island, envisioned an awe-inspiring, museum-grade sculptural ceiling feature. The goal was to animate the dining room’s soaring coffered ceiling with a majestic ocean motif that commands attention day and night.
The Craft: Handycor engineered and handcrafted a synchronized pod of suspended Humpback Whales — featuring a massive lead mother whale followed by gracefully swimming calves. Rendered in pristine architectural matte white with smooth organic contours, each sculpture floats weightlessly on high-tensile aircraft cables, interacting dynamically with natural daylight and the venue’s warm evening spotlights.
The Result: A breathtaking architectural centerpiece that defines the restaurant’s luxurious maritime dining identity and creates an unforgettable visual journey for guests.
